Transfer Credit Policy

Maximum Transfer Credits by Degree Level

FaithBridge accepts transfer credit for prior collegiate coursework completed at accredited institutions, subject to academic review.

Bachelor's Degree

120 credits total

Accept up to 90 transfer credits (75%)
Minimum 30 credits in residence
At least 15 upper-division credits (300–400 level)
Master's Degree

36–60 credits total

Accept up to 12–18 transfer credits (max 50%)
Minimum 50% of credits at FaithBridge
Doctoral Degree

By Petition

Limited transfer credit by petition only
Typically no more than 25–30%
Dissertation credits must be completed at FaithBridge

Grade & Accreditation Standards

FaithBridge maintains high academic standards. Transfer credits are accepted only when all of the following criteria are met:

Institution Requirements

  • Regionally accredited institutions, OR
  • Faith-based institutions with recognized accreditation or demonstrated academic rigor

Minimum Grade Requirements

  • Grade of C or better for undergraduate coursework
  • Grade of B or better for graduate coursework

Course Requirements

  • Equivalent in level, learning outcomes, and credit hours
  • Applicable to the student's program of study
  • Courses that do not align may transfer as electives only

Biblical & Faith Integration

To preserve FaithBridge's Christian identity while treating all students fairly, certain courses require special review:

Courses Requiring Review:

Bible, Theology, Ministry, and Faith Integration courses

May Require:

  • • A Faith Integration Bridge Course, or
  • • A short Biblical Foundations requirement if transferred credits are secular

Residency & Capstone Requirements

All capstone courses must be completed at FaithBridge
Final 25% of degree credits must be completed in residence

This ensures institutional identity, academic control, and accreditor confidence in the quality of your degree.

Official Transfer Credit Policy

"FaithBridge Bible University accepts transfer credit for prior collegiate coursework completed at accredited institutions, subject to academic review. A maximum of 75% of undergraduate degree requirements may be satisfied through transfer credit. All students must complete a minimum of 25% of their degree credits, including all capstone requirements, at FaithBridge Bible University."
